Le monde ne fait qu’un.

Je crée un univers qui lie toutes choses : diverses histoires et mythes où s’éntrelancent fleurs, animaux et êtres humains, traversant le temps et l’espace. J’imagine un monde épanoui, contenant la sensualité de la vie.

Quand je travaille sur mes toiles, je commence souvent par une base de peinture à l’huile d’un blanc laiteux. Elle se mêle de l'intérieur à ce que je dessine et nourrit ce monde d'un courant d’amour. Sur les gravures, que j'ai commencées en 2016, j'ajoute toute une variété de figures en guise d'ornements, pour que chacune d'entre elles raconte plusieurs histoires, toutes subtilement distinctes, et qui se combinent.

Mes tableaux figurent une "utopie" où se mêlent sans hiérarchie le monde des hommes, celui des objets et celui de la nature. Malgré les différences à la surface, je pense que toutes les choses sont liées en profondeur comme des plantes dont les racines se touchent.

The whole world is one.

I create a world which connects all things : many stories and myths where flowers, animals and humans interweave, through time and space. The sensuality of life spreads out, embracing even irony and humour.

When I work on my paintings, I often start with a milky white first layer of oil paint. It seeps into what I draw and feeds the world I create with a current of love. On the engravings, which I started in 2016, I add a variety of figures as ornaments, so that each of them tells several stories, all subtly distinct, and lets them intertwine.

My paintings depict a “utopia” in which the world of men, the world of objects and the natural world mingle without hierarchy. Despite the differences on the surface, I think all things are deeply connected, like plants whose roots touch each other.

世界はひとつである。

様々な物語や神話、花や植物、動物や人間たちが、時間や空間を越えて、全てが繋がる世界を創作しています。そこには生きることの官能性が、風刺やユーモアを含んで広がっています。

制作を開始する時、主にベースとなる乳白色の油絵の具を作ることから始め、厚めにキャンバスに乗せ、その上から絵の具、色鉛筆を使って愛にあふれる世界を描写します。

私の絵画では人間界、動物界や自然といったもののヒエラルキーがなく、全てが対等に扱われ、交わり合う ”ユートピア” が形作られています。表面的には見えませんが、私は全てのものは、深い部分では繋がっていると思うのです。土の下では繋がっている、植物のように。
